Feed Your Face with this Vitamin Infused Hydration Smoothie

Chapped lips, itchy skin, redness, and peeling are all common winter skin symptoms that come when the colder weather settles in for the season. It's a no brainer that the first recommendation is to drink plenty of water to hydrate your skin from within. But for those who are tired of drinking plain old water, here is a recipe that is sure to hydrate and give your taste buds something to get excited about:

Ginger Pear Smoothie - for delicious, vitamin infused hydration

2 cups of fresh spinach leaves
1 ½ cups of almond milk
4 medium pears, chopped
1 inch piece of grated fresh ginger
¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup of ice

Simply place all the ingredients in your blender and puree until creamy and smooth. Divide into glasses and serve. Makes four servings.
